Jose "Joey' Ramirez is a entrepreneur, artist and community advocate based out Sacramento California.  Joey started his entrepreneurial journey over 20 years ago as a self employed graphic designer offering design and marketing services to local business. Over time Joey's love for the art of networking and providing value landed Joey in the middle of a robust network of business owners, artist and other amazing movers and shakers.

It was this venture into graphic design that allowed Joey to learn how to walk the fine line between business and art. Walking this line helped Joey to be able to navigate the business environment while remaining able to create art and advocate on behalf of the community.

It was through this mindset that Joey found his passion for creating, building business' and contributing to some thing impactful. Soon Joey was in the unique position and opportunity to accept the title of president of the Washington Neighborhood Center (WNC), a historical non profit arts and youth center in downtown Sacramento with deeps roots in the Chicano arts and activist movement lead by the Royal Chicano Air Force / RCAF.

The WNC was home to the art gallery where Joey curated a dozen exhibits a year for over a decade. Joey curated art exhibits on a variety of themes and mediums as well as developed and executed various community based art programs and workshops during his time at the Washington Neighborhood Center (WNC).

Through this experience Joey grew an extensive knowledge expertise of the non-profit sector and was soon asked to serve as the president, of board of directors for an organization called Community Resources Project, Inc. (CRP), a non-profit based out of Sacramento that operates in multiple counties with over 120 employees and offers a variety of programs from health, energy and workforce development.

Till this day Joey still serves as president of CRP and works for a non-profit as a community advocate.  Although Joey truly enjoys his non-profit activities, he still gets great satisfaction out of being a true entrepreneur, marketing and business development. Today Joey operates his own company, Meta Lac Studios where he focus' on business development, consulting and creative services. Metal Lac Studios is a web 3 development studio that creates lifestyle brands, communities and products around lifestyle brands such as Dope Bike Life, Joy Rides, Art Vibez, Club Dope and Community Flyer which all harness a robust social media, content creation, live events and NFT utility.
